BOI iDICE Debt Fund 2026 — Borrow Up to ₦1 Billion for Your Tech or Creative Business in Nigeria

The Federal Government of Nigeria, through the Bank of Industry, is offering loans of up to ₦1 billion to Nigerian tech and creative businesses under the iDICE Debt Fund. What is the BOI iDICE Debt Fund?


The Investment in Digital and Creative Enterprises (iDICE) Programme is a $617.7 million programme by the Federal Government of Nigeria designed to promote investment in ICT and Creative Industries. It is co-financed by the African Development Bank (AfDB), French Development Agency (AFD) and Islamic Development Bank (IsDB).


The $45 million debt facility is BOI's contribution to this programme — structured loans offered through Partner Financial Institutions (PFIs) to youth-led tech and creative startups across Nigeria.

Your business qualifies as tech if at least one of these applies:

  •  Technology is your primary product (app, platform, API, device)
  •  Technology is your core distribution engine (digital marketplace)
  •  Technology is your core innovation (AI scoring model)
  •  Technology makes your business significantly more scalable than traditional alternatives
